     Since my writing is an addiction (and not a reliable, year-round source of income), I must work at something else to fund my addiction!
     My husband, Harold, and I own and operate OASIS POOLS, (home of one-piece fiberglass pools in central PA). This is not a franchise, but a "Mom & Pop" company we literally started "from scratch" in the mid-1980's. Back then Harold owned and operated an excavating business (Dirt Masters) and dug holes for other pool companies. When he first discovered the fiberglass pool concept, he began digging holes to install fiberglass pools for customers of his own. Eventually the pool business became our primary business, being incorporated as Oasis Pools, Inc. in 1988.
     Thanks to my husband Harold, he puts up with me "digging up" facts and ideas for my books as a hobby of mine while he is busy digging holes for the installation of one-piece fiberglass pools. Meanwhile, I oversee the administrative work in the office for Oasis Pools, Inc.
